We also met the cast of Mark St. Germain's play, 'The God Committee', but the episode starts at the opening night of Roundabout's production of Joe Orton's comedy 'Entertaining Mr. Sloane' which featured a stellar cast including Chris Carmack, Alex Baldwin and the late great Jan Maxwell, whom Richard Ridge says, 'was one of the greatest actresses of her generation'.

Earlier this week, The Actors Fund in association with Universal Theatrical Group and Margaret Styne presented a one-night only concert of the holiday classic Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol. The evening was directed by Carl Andress with choreography by Nathan Peck, based on original choreography by Marcos Santana. Grammy Award® and Emmy Award®-winner John McDaniel wrote new orchestrations for the score and served at the evening's music director, conducting a 28 piece on stage orchestra.

On Friday night, September 12, director Eric Ulloa and Music Director John McDaniel presented an all-star Broadway cast in 'Rise, Rise, Rise' a tribute to the late Elaine Stritch at 54 Below, singing the songs that made Stritch famous and told the stories that made her infamous. Paper Mill Playhouse (Mark S. Hoebee- Producing Artistic Director, Todd Schmidt-Managing Director) has just announced the cast for its holiday musical masterpiece, The Sound of Music. One of the most beloved and inspirational stories of all time, this tale of love and courage is Rodgers and Hammerstein's final triumphant collaboration. Directed and choreographed by Paper Mill Playhouse favorite James Brennan, The Sound of Music will bring families of all ages together this holiday season. Leading the cast are Ben Davis as Captain Georg von Trapp, Elena Shaddow as Maria von Trapp, Edward Hibbert as Max, Chelsea Morgan Stock as Liesl and X as Rolf. The Sound of Music will run at the Millburn, New Jersey, theater from November 23 to December 30, 2012. The official press opening is Sunday, November 25, at 7:00pm.

Mrs. Warren's Profession opened on Sunday, October 3rd, 2010 for a limited engagement through Sunday, November 21st, 2010 and stars Cherry Jones as 'Kitty Warren.' The George Bernard Shaw classic, also stars Sally Hawkins as 'Vivie Warren' with Doug Hughes directing.
