Social, racial and ethnic issues are tackled with Simon's superb comic timing as Eugene is drafted to serve in WWII and comes of age in ARMY BOOT CAMP! Rich in both humor and ethical confrontation. It won the Tony Award for best play in 1985.
Directed by Karla Hartley. Featuring Ricky Cona and Heather Krueger, performances run May 4-20, 2012, Thursdays - Saturdays 8pm and Sundays at 3pm. May 3rd is the preview - $10 tickets. The opening night gala is May 4th - $50 tickets.

Finally, Stageworks hosts TampaWorks, an evening of short plays celebrating the Tampa Bay Area. Set in Tampa Bay, these comedies and dramas will explore everyday life in the Bay area, as well as local history and culture, and have been created by members of Stagewrights, a play development group hosted for the last 15 years by Stageworks Theatre. The evening will celebrate the skills of local playwrights, actors, directors and crew on a professional stage.
