StageWorks to Present Original Plays in TAMPAWORKS, 6/8 - 6/9

TampaWorks is an evening of original short plays set in Tampa Bay. These comedies and dramas which explore everyday life in the Bay area, as well as local history and culture, have been created by members of Stagewrights.

Since 1987, Stageworks has offered professional playwrights a 'home' where they could meet and develop their works. For 15 years this 'workshop' was lead by professional playwrights. Approximately 10 years ago the group slowly transformed itself with assistance from Jim Wicker and Ed Stevens and recently retitled the group Stageworks' Stagewrights.
