Single Tickets to Maltz Jupiter Theatre's Season Go On Sale 8/27

Single tickets for the Maltz Jupiter Theatre's 2012/13 Tenth Anniversary Season Celebration will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 27.

The 2012/13 season will begin with Amadeus (Oct. 30 – Nov. 11), a thrilling tour-de-force biodrama that unveils the outrageous antics of one of the greatest composers of all time, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Sponsored by Priscilla Heublein. The Theatre will continue with the classic American musical The Music Man (Nov. 27 – Dec. 16), which takes us on a toe-tapping adventure with fast-talking salesman Professor Harold Hill. Sponsored by Peggy and Rick Katz. Perfect for the entire family!

Next up is Singin' in the Rain (Jan. 8 – 27), the high-energy romantic comedy filled with splashy song-and-dance numbers and an onstage rainstorm. Sponsored by the John McDonald Company and California Closets. Then, the Tony Award® and Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Doubt (Feb. 5 – 17) examines the blurry line between reality and gossip, discipline and compassion, truth and doubt.

The smash season ends with Thoroughly Modern Millie (March 5 – 24), a Tony Award®-winning musical that takes us on a high-spirited musical romp around 1920s New York City, featuring thunderous tap dancing, frisky flappers and dashing leading men. Sponsored by Kathy and Joe Savarese and Homecare America and Joan and Allen Bildner.

"Our season is filled with classic musicals, family entertainment and captivating plays, including four Tony Award®-winning productions and an MGM spectacle. Single show ticket prices start at $46, with flexible performance schedule options. To purchase the best seats available, the award-winning Theatre – which received the prestigious Bill Von Maurer Carbonell Award for Theatrical Excellence in 2012 – is also offering two convenient subscription plans, the four-play and the five-play, for the Theatre's Tenth Anniversary Season Celebration for 2012/13.

Subscribers save 10 percent to 15 percent on single ticket prices. Subscribers also get one fee-free ticket exchange per show, and advance notice and ability to purchase tickets to limited engagements and other special events, which are on sale now. Season subscriptions start at $183.

Subscription groups of 20 or more receive an additional discount, with the opportunity to attend talk-backs (in which participants receive "behind the scenes" insight into the production process), attend backstage tours and receive suggestions on area restaurant menus and discount packages. Groups also receive customized services, including assistance hosting pre-show and post-show special events, a special "welcome" to the Theatre (including lobby signage and pre-show curtain speech), recommendations on transportation discounts through Midnight Sun Tours and more.

The Theatre also hosts several themed events throughout the season. School Spirit Night will take place on Friday, Nov. 20, at 7:30 p.m., for students 18 and under to attend The Music Man for only $15, with a post-show dessert meet-and-greet with the cast. Student Previews also give students 18 and under the option to purchase tickets to the first preview Tuesday and Wednesday performances of each season show for only $15.

The Theatre's popular Family Night Out, scheduled for each of the Theatre's season shows (Nov. 10, Dec. 8, Jan. 19, Feb. 16 and March 16), allows parents to enjoy one of the Theatre's exciting productions on a Saturday night while children age 5 and up explore performing arts in the Theatre's Paul and Sandra Goldner Conservatory of Performing Arts for a fee of $20. Additionally, the Theatre'sFourth Annual Pride Night will take place on Friday, March 8, at 6:30 p.m., with pre-show hors d'oeuvres, a performance of Thoroughly Modern Millie and a post-show dessert meet and greet with the cast.
