Jimmy Ferraro's Studio Theatre to Open this June in New Port Richey

Nationally known, Award winning Actors, Producers, Directors, and Teachers, husband and wife team, JIMMY FERRARO and DEE ETTA ROWE will open Jimmy Ferraro's STUDIO THEATRE this June , at 5732 Main Street in historic, downtown, New Port Richey, Florida. The STUDIO THEATRE is perfectly nestled among restaurants, quaint Antique Shoppes and Art Galleries. Ferraro and Rowe are thrilled to be back in Pasco County after 10 years of performing around the country. They most recently starred in the 2012 National Tour of "Fiddler on the Roof", winning Ferraro the prestigious BroadwayWorld, "Best Actor in a Musical" Award for his performance as Tevye.

The intimate "Studio" theatre is located in the 1922 historic SIMS Building.

The Ferraro's will lead a company of theatrical Professionals, devoted to preserving the American Art form of LIVE THEATRE, by developing and presenting new works and seldom seen plays and musicals, as well as classic favorites.

The FERRARO STUDIO THEATRE is a professional theatre company, working together with Actors' Equity Association, the professional union of theatrical actors and stage managers in the United States, on a Special Appearance Agreement.

Our commitment to connecting actors and audience is built into the very architecture of our STUDIO THEATRE, seating 68 patrons.

No other theatre in the Tri-County operates in such an exclusively intimate space.

The FERRARO STUDIO THEATRE offers an intimate viewing experience, where every seat is a good seat, and the minimalist "black box studio" setting allows the art of LIVE theatre, to be uniquely explored, pure and unadorned, focusing on the story and the actors, without distraction.

In addition, the STUDIO will be offering instruction in Voice, Acting, and Musical Theatre, preparing both the current and next generation of LIVE THEATRE performers and audiences.
The theatre will open the Summer Season with the rollicking Musical/Comedy, "CHURCH BASEMENT LADIES" - June 6th through 29th, followed by the World Premier Musical "COUPLED" -July 18 through August 10th, and a Musical Cabaret, "The SINGING DIVAS of BROADWAY and HOLLYWOOD" - September 6 through 28th. Performances are on Weekends, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 PM and Sunday matinee at 2PM. Tickets are $23.36 plus tax. ON SALE NOW!
